RIYADH: Upon directives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh is hosting talks between the Russian Federation and the United States of America today (Tuesday), part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to promote global security and peace, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Saudi Gazette’s Twitter account also reported that US and Russia talks have begun in Riyadh.

Global peace
Earlier, on Monday the SPA reported that Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
During the meeting between Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and US Secretary of State, they reviewed relations and ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two friendly countries, the SPA added. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and efforts exerted towards them, according to the SPA.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati.
