Saudi Arabia Launches Beta Version of Data Saudi Platform

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Economy and Planning Ministry on Wednesday announced the release of the beta version of Data Saudi, an online platform aimed at becoming the definitive source for socioeconomic data pertaining to the Kingdom.

Data Saudi is designed to amalgamate and synthesize data from reputable local and international sources, providing users with comprehensive insights into the Kingdom’s economic landscape.

In line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the ministry, in collaboration with other government bodies, intends to facilitate access to socioeconomic and sector-specific data while bolstering transparency surrounding the national economy.

The platform will include crucial economic and social indicators, empowering users to analyze these indicators both at the national and regional levels.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Economy and Planning plans to expand data coverage to encompass a wide range of economic sectors. To enhance user experience, the ministry is actively working on incorporating advanced and interactive data visualization tools. Furthermore, the ministry intends to release periodic publications featuring expert commentaries.
