RIYADH: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Monday launched the first edition of Human Capability Initiative, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Crown Prince, who is also the Chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee, one of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 Realization Programs announced the launching of the event that will be held during the 28-29 February 2024, at King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh.
According to the SPA under the theme of “Future Readiness”, the event will bring together over 6000 decision makers, experts, and more than 150 international keynote speakers from government, private and non-profit organizations, and think tanks from over 50 countries to explore dialogues, create collaborations and seize opportunities for human capability development across the world.
The event will focus on how to boost the human capability development ecosystem, creative solutions, promote innovative policy design and showcase success stories of human capability development and its impact on economic growth.
First global cooperative platform to catalyze global collaboration
Minister of Education and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program Yousef Al-Benyan has said this is the first global cooperative platform to catalyze global collaboration, enrich international dialogue in human capability development, and contribute to the development of human skills and a prosperous global economy.
He said the event will discuss challenges facing human capabilities development in light of international changes, and the most important skills needed in the future global labor market.
The Minister further said that issues addressed at conference are of vital importance in started new conversations on collaboration, shaping policy and private-public-third sector partnerships at a global level in developing human capabilities.
