RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the new Syrian administration Asaad Al-Shaibani, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Supportive stance
The SPA reported that Prince Faisal reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s supportive stance for all initiatives aimed at achieving security, stability, and sovereignty for Syria.
The two ministers reviewed the current situation in Syria and the efforts being made to address it.
The two sides also discussed ways to support everything that contributes to a prosperous future filled with security, stability, and prosperity for Syria and its people.
They also addressed various topics aimed at preserving Syrian state institutions and resources, ensuring Syria’s return to its natural position in the Arab and Islamic worlds, according to the SPA.
