RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and South Korea have discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the defense sector, Arab media reported on Tuesday.
Saudi Arabia-South Korea Ties
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two sides discussed bilateral ties and defense cooperation during a meeting of the Saudi-South Korean ministerial committee for defense cooperation in Riyadh. During the meeting, they reviewed ties and cooperation between the two sides and ways to enhance further cooperation to serve common interests, particularly in the defense and military sectors.
The SPA reported that the meeting was presided over by Saudi Arabia’s Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili and South Korea’s Vice Defense Minister Shin Beom-chul.
