Saudi Arabian Scouts Association Offers Opportunities for 4,200 Volunteers

MAKKAH: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has announced the initiation of volunteer opportunities at the camps for youth, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The announcement was made by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudayris, Deputy President of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association and General Supervisor of public service camps in Makkah and the holy sites.

These opportunities, aimed at engaging 4,200 volunteers, are accessible through the National Volunteer Portal.

Al-Mudayris stressed the importance of volunteerism in community development, fostering national pride, and shaping future generations. He highlighted how volunteering enables youth to enhance their personalities and acquire valuable skills that promote positive values.

Al-Mudayris also recognized the leadership’s support in strengthening volunteer efforts, aligning with the objectives of Vision 2030.

Moreover, he praised the outstanding contributions of all volunteers and scout leaders in the camps, who have been dedicated to serving pilgrims and ensuring the smooth conduct of Hajj rituals.
