RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is gearing up to participate in a significant G20 startup summit aimed at fostering the development of the sector. The summit, called Startup20 Shikhar and held under India’s G20 presidency, will take place from July 3 to 4 in New Delhi, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Over the course of two days, the event will feature discussions, mentoring sessions, networking opportunities with experts and policymakers, and a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services. Leading the Saudi Arabian delegation will be Prince Fahad bin Mansour Al-Saud, who emphasized the importance of this opportunity to highlight the Kingdom’s accomplishments in the realms of startups, small and medium enterprises, and entrepreneurship.
Saudi Arabia Enthusiastic for Summit
Prince Fahad expressed his enthusiasm for the summit, noting that it would facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas, the establishment of strategic global partnerships, and the exploration of investment prospects. Saudi Arabia’s participation in the G20-Startup20 engagement group aligns with the objectives of the Vision 2030 plan, which aims to diversify the country’s economy.
