Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Appoints New Deputy Defense Minister

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has appointed Prince Abdulrahman bin Ayyaf Al-Muqrin as the deputy minister of defense on Sunday to further strengthen the kingdom’s defense apparatus.

In a royal decree, the King also announced the appointment of Nizar bin Suleiman bin Ali Al-Aloula as an advisor at the General Secretariat of the Cabinet and Khalid bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkarim as an advisor at the Royal Court.

Additionally, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-ASheikh has been appointed as the vice chairman of the Human Rights Commission, showcasing the commitment of Saudi Arabia to promoting human rights and ensuring their protection.
