Saudi Athletes win Three Medals at the Arab Games in Algeria

ALGERIA: The Saudi national football team won three medals (two silver medals) and a prize that was part of the competition in the competition race Friday through Saturday, Arab Play.

The 15th Pan-Arab Games were held in Algeria and the total so far has reached four (three silvers and one bronze).

Issa Ghazwani won the silver medal in the 800 meters after athletics at the Olympic Stadium in Oran, Algeria.

Ghazwani finished 1st behind Algerian Soleimani Mawla with 1.47.71.

46.87 minutes; Tunisian Abdel Salam Ayouni won the bronze medal in the 1.48.19 minute.

Al-Baraa Al-Qarni won the silver medal with 3 points on the last day of the Paralympic Games.

The 1500 meters chairlift race lasted 53.14 minutes. Tunisian Mohamed Khrifi won the gold medal in 3.52.20 minutes, while UAE athlete Mohamed Al Mazrouei won the bronze medal in 3.58 minutes.

In swimming, Yusuf Bouarish won the bronze medal in the 50m freestyle with a time of 23.90 on the second day.
