Saudi Aviation College Graduates 1,354 in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

RIYADH: The Saudi International Aviation Technical College recently celebrated the graduation of 1,354 students specializing in aircraft maintenance engineering, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The ceremony, graced by Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan and attended by leaders from the aviation and education sectors, highlighted significant achievements.

Eng. Ayman Al Abdullah, CEO of Colleges of Excellence, said that the college has achieved a 70% localization rate in aviation training, demonstrating efforts to bolster national capabilities in the field.

He emphasized strong support from both military and civilian government bodies, along with the private sector, contributing to enhanced training quality and promising career opportunities for graduates.

Established in Riyadh in 2014, the International Technical College for Aviation Sciences has thus far graduated over 7,400 students, with an impressive 90% employment rate within a year post-graduation.

The college holds esteemed domestic and international accreditations, including recognition from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) as an aircraft maintenance training school, accreditation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as an aircraft maintenance school, and acknowledgement as a training center by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
