RIYADH: The Royal Guards of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have carried out their first joint security drill, Arab media reported on Wednesday.
Saudi, Bahraini Royal Guards Conclude Joint Security Exercise
The security exercise in Riyadh ran for two weeks under the supervision of top qualified army training officials. The joint exercise aimed to further strengthen collaboration, exchange army and security skills and enhance the competence of security services, arms handling and special operations.
The closing ceremony of the joint exercise was attended by top officers including Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Omari, chief of the operations department and general supervisor of the joint exercise, Major General Hamad Al-Nuaimi, deputy commander of the Royal Guard of Bahrain.
