Saudi Crown Prince, French President Hold Phone Call

JEDDAH: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and President of France Emmanuel Macron held a phone call on Wednesday to discuss bilateral ties, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Both leaders exchanged congratulations on the agreement signed between Airbus and Saudia to purchase 105 aircraft.

They also reviewed ties and ways to develop existing cooperation in a number of fields, and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.

The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and global issues, foremost of which the latest developments in Gaza, and the need to enhance efforts and international communications to end the war and all forms of escalation, and to work to deliver sufficient humanitarian assistance.
