Saudi Crown Prince Hosts Kuwaiti Counterpart in Jeddah

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, in Jeddah on Tuesday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Crown Prince welcomed Sheikh Sabah Khaled and his delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay. Sheikh Sabah Khaled expressed his happiness at visiting the Kingdom and appreciated the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation.

During their meeting at Al-Salam Palace, the two leaders discussed the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, exploring opportunities for growth and development in various fields. They also exchanged views on several regional and international issues.

To honor the Kuwaiti Crown Prince and his delegation, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted a lunch banquet. Sheikh Sabah Khaled, who was appointed Crown Prince of Kuwait on June 1 by a decree from Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, departed Jeddah later on Tuesday. He was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and other senior officials.

Following his visit, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince sent cables to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressing his gratitude for their generous hospitality. He emphasized the exceptional relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and affirmed his commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields for mutual prosperity. Sheikh Sabah Khaled praised the successful talks and wished the Saudi leaders good health and the Kingdom continued progress.
