RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman received a phone call from Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi during which the two leaders discussed the ongoing military tensions in Gaza and its surrounding areas, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported early Thursday.
During the call, Crown Prince MBS emphasized the Kingdom’s dedicated efforts to collaborate with international and regional entities to de-escalate the current situation, SPA said.
The Saudi leader reiterated the nation’s firm stance against any form of harm to civilians and the loss of innocent lives. He underscored the significance of upholding the principles of international humanitarian law and expressed profound concerns regarding the severe humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the adverse impact on civilian populations.
