Saudi Crown Prince Receives Call from Japan’s Prime Minister

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a telephone call from Japan’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

According to the SPA, the two leaders discussed the current military escalation in Gaza during the talks. The SPA maintained that the Crown Prince emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia considers targeting civilian population in Gaza as a heinous crime and a brutal attack, stressing the need of providing safety to them.

The Crown Prince also emphasized the significance of enhancing efforts to stop military operations and de-escalate the situation to avert its serious implications on regional and world security, stability and peace, the SPA maintained.
