MINA: On behalf of Saudi King Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman has received Eid Al-Adha well-wishers at Mina Palace, Arab media reported on Wednesday.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported among those the Crown Prince received were the Grand Mufti, senior and top officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, cabinet members, the military official.
Saudi Crown Prince Receives Eid Al-Adha Well-wishers
Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Saudi nationals, inhabitants and Hajj pilgrims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, and lauded the efforts of army and civil institutions for their work in assisting and helping pilgrims during this year Hajj season.
“The great sacrifices, heroism and acts of honor that you are making in order to preserve the security of your nation and its sanctities is an approach followed by the people of this nation since its founding,” Prince Mohammed was quoted as saying by Saudi Press Agency.
The Crown Prince said: “Your blessed efforts, along with those of other state departments and organizations, to serve the Hajj pilgrims, ensure their comfort, and maintain their safety and security, are a major source of pride for us. We will continue to utilize efforts and harness our abilities to facilitate and ease the performance of Hajj at all times.”
On the occasion, Lieutenant-General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, chairman of the Hajj Security Committee and director of public security, also delivered a speech.
He said “Allah has honored this nation and singled it out to serve Hajj pilgrims and blessed it with the honor of serving guests of the Grand Mosque, your children who take part in the execution of Hajj security plans feel proud to perform this assignment,”.
