Saudi Crown Prince Receives Prime Minister of Spain

JEDDAH: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on Tuesday received the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The Spanish Prime Minister appreciated the hospitality and warm reception accorded to him and the accompanying delegation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the interaction, the two sides reviewed the bilateral ties and discussed ways to boost cooperation in various areas. They also discussed the latest developments in regional and global affairs of common interest.

The two sides also talked about the serious developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, along with global efforts to stop Israeli military operations and address their security and humanitarian repercussions.

Moreover, they discussed advancing the peace process according to the UN Security Council (UNSC) and General Assembly (UNGA), resolutions as well as the Arab Peace Initiative to achieve comprehensive and just solution to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Al-Quds as its capital.

They stressed the importance of the international community playing its role in putting pressure on Israel to stop its war on Gaza, respect international laws, and allow humanitarian assistance to enter Gaza without delay.
