ABU DHABI: Saudi Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and discussed regional and international developments and common interests.
Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes of continued progress and prosperity for the UAE, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on the relations between the two countries; discussions centred on regional and international developments and common interests.

The Saudi minister wrote on his personal account on X, “I had the honour to convey the greetings of our leadership, and we reviewed the fraternal relations between our two brotherly countries, and discussed regional and international developments as well as issues of common interest.”

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that during the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and ways to advance cooperation in all fields to support their common interests and achieve the aspirations of their peoples for development and prosperity.
The UAE President conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince, expressing his wishes for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve further progress and prosperity under its leadership.
They also addressed developments in the Middle East, regional and international issues of shared interest, and the importance of enhancing efforts to maintain regional security, peace, and stability.
