LONDON: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and his accompanying delegation has arrived in London on an official visit, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
According to the SPA, he is visiting UK upon the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
During the visit, the defense minister will hold meeting with several UK officials to discuss bilateral ties and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
He arrived in the UK after wrapping up an official visit to France where he met senior officials and businessmen to discuss areas of cooperation and joint coordination between the two friendly countries.
The defense minister also met with President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace. During the meeting he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the French president.
