Saudi Family Organizes Special Ceremony to Bid Farewell to Pakistani Worker

ISLAMABAD: As a reflection of loyalty and appreciation, a Saudi family in the Qassim region organized a special ceremony to bid farewell to their Pakistani worker named Maqbool who served the family for 45 years.

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki shared a video on Twitter and said that the Saudi family had honored an elder Pakistan worker with a special farewell ceremony.

“A Saudi family in Qassim region is bidding farewell to their Pakistani Mukful Maqbool after 45 years of service in a special and meaningful ceremony that reflects the appreciation and loyalty shown by this distinguished family and our beautiful society,” the Saudi Ambassador said in his tweet.

Pakistani workers consider Saudi Arabia as their home

A Twitter user commented that this is a small example of the beautiful society of Saudi Arabia. “If you spend a few days among the people of Saudi Arabia, you will not feel alienated. More people are looking at their future for years in Saudi Arabia,” he added.

Many Twitteriest appreciated the Saudi family and lauded their love and affection for Pakistani people.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy historical brotherly relations, and thousands of Pakistani travels to the Kingdom every year for employment.
