RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah chaired the preparatory ministerial meeting here in Riyadh on Sunday for the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit scheduled to be held tomorrow, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
This meeting was an extension of the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit slated to be held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, upon the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and complementing the efforts of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in coordination with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.
The preparatory meeting focused on discussing the summit’s agenda.

Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi and Director General of the Foreign Minister’s Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood also attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine Dr. Mohammad Mustafa on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit.
During the meeting, they discussed the topics on the summit’s agenda, the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, and the efforts being exerted toward addressing them.
