Saudi FM Discusses Gaza Situation with Egypt, Jordan and Morocco Counterparts

DUBAI: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Saturday discussed the Gaza situation with his Egyptian, Jordanian and Moroccan counterparts during separate phone calls, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

During a telephonic conversation between Prince Faisal and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, they discussed the current military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings and the need to rally all efforts to stop the forced displacement of Gaza citizens and de-escalate the conflict in the region.

Saudi and Egyptian FMs Discuss Gaza Situation

Both the ministers emphasized the significance of the international community’s involvement in ending the Gaza blockade. They also stressed the need for the Israeli occupation to comply with international humanitarian law by allowing access to food and relief supplies in Gaza. Furthermore, they emphasized the need to work towards finding a just and complete political solution to the issue that will fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people and encourage security and stability in the region and the world.

Saudi and Jordanian FMs Discuss Gaza

Meanwhile, during a telephonic conversation, the Saudi Foreign Minister and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed the ongoing military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings, the escalating military operations against defenseless innocent civilians. They also emphasized need for the international community to realize its responsibilities to stop the forced displacement of Gaza citizens, stop violence, and de-escalate the conflict in the region.

They also discussed the need of intensifying communication with the international community to guarantee the continuous provision of relief aid and medical equipment. They stressed to find a fair, complete, and equitable solution to the issue to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people.

Saudi and Moroccan FMs Discuss Gaza

The Saudi Foreign Minister also made a phone call with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and discussed the ongoing military escalation in Gaza. They stressed the need to rally all efforts to stop the forced displacement of Gaza citizens and de-escalate the conflict in the region, which has intensified the suffering of the innocent Gaza citizens.

They also talked about the necessity of intensifying communication by the two countries with the global community to guarantee the continuous provision of relief aid and medical equipment, and to find a practical roadmap to find a just, complete, and equitable solution to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people.
