RIYADH: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has attended the GCC-Russia Joint Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue, held at the Secretariat General of the Council in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
Participants reviewed GCC-Russian relations and explored opportunities to strengthen and expand cooperation. They also discussed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis and the global efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution and support initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and security.
The meeting stressed the need for increased coordination on regional and international issues, as well as the significance of multilateral cooperation and stronger economic cooperation to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals.
Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed El-Khereiji, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi also attended the meeting.
