RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Foreign Affair Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Riyadh and discussed the strategic Saudi-US partnership, the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia, the two leaders held the meeting on the sidelines of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations’ ministerial meeting in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance further bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, Saudi Foreign Ministry said.
The two top diplomats also discussed regional and global developments during the meeting. The two sides also exchanged views to further strengthen US-Gulf ties in different fields. The meeting was also attended by Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi envoy to the United States.
