RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu have held a meeting in Riyadh, where the two sides discussed the recent developments in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
According to the SPA, Prince Khalid bin Salman highlighted the urgent need to stop military operations, protect innocent lives, and also facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid and relief.
The SPA added that Defense Minister discussed strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and France as well as various aspects of joint cooperation in the defense and military fields. The two sides also discussed regional and global issues and developments and efforts being made to address them in order to strengthen stability and security, the SPA reported.

The SPA maintained that the meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense Abdurrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf; Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, and Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Khalid Biyari.
