Eidul Fitr celebrations

Eidul Fitr is celebrated at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, which is a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims across the world. Eid is a time of great joy and celebration, as families come together to share meals, exchange gifts, and visit one another.

Meanwhile, millions of Muslims around the world, including in Pakistan, are observing the practice of Aitkaf on Tuesday, April 11th. Aitkaf is the act of secluding oneself during the final ten days of Ramadan, with the intention of dedicating all one’s time to the worship of Allah Almighty.

This highly virtuous and rewarding act is a great Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, and every Muslim strives to perform it at least once in their lifetime. Aitkaf begins after sunset on the 20th of Ramadan and ends when the moon for Eid is sighted.
