JEDDAH: On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have extended greetings and congratulations to the leaders of Islamic countries. The state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday that both the king and crown prince called for further progress and prosperity for the Islamic nation.

As Muslims around the world prepare to celebrate Eid Al-Adha, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received cables from the leaders of various Islamic nations, expressing their heartfelt wishes for a blessed and joyous Eid. The Saudi leaders reciprocated by sending reply cables, expressing gratitude for the well-wishes and extending their hopes for the continued security and stability of the Islamic nation.

Eid Al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to ALLAH.
