RIYADH: The Research, Development, and Innovation Authority (RDIA) has launched the Saudi Minds Platform, which represents a key step forward in advancing research and innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The platform aims to create a comprehensive digital atmosphere to support the research and innovation ecosystem and promote scientific development and progress, the SPA added.
The national platform also includes a large database serving as a reference for people involved in research as well as innovation. It also provides reliable information regarding researchers and innovators and their areas of expertise related to national priorities as well as facilitates communication with entities interested in research and innovation, the SPA added. Platform registrants will also receive priority access to steps and opportunities provided by the RDIA.

According to the SPA, the Saudi Minds Platform aims to inventory and categorize researchers and innovators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), promote knowledge exchange and experience sharing, facilitate global cooperation in science and technology, and foster effective partnerships in research, development, as well as innovation. The platform allows for the display of research and innovative projects, making it easier to access funding and partnerships while also increasing transparency and efficiency in managing scientific as well as technological data.
RDIA also invites all researchers and innovators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to verify their data or register on the platform. This will contribute to achieving sustainable growth in the sectors of research and innovation and enhance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) international leadership.
