Saudi Minister Inspects Forces Hajj Preparations

MAKKAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz has inspected the readiness of the Ministry’s forces participating in the current Hajj season, in line with the directives of the wise leadership in maintaining the security and safety, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to the SPA, during his visit to the National Guard Forces Field in Al Sharia in Makkah, the Minister was briefed on the military parade, which was held under the slogan “Ease and Reassurance” and watched visual summary of the tasks being conducted by the National Guard forces in the western sector.

The SPA reported that upon his arrival at the ceremony venue, the Minister of the National Guard was received by Acting Representative of the National Guard, Major General, Saleh bin Abdulrahman Al-Harbi and Assistant Undersecretary of the National Guard for the Military Service in the Western Sector, Major General Abdullah bin Ali Al-Tuwaijri, and a number of officials.

The Ministry’s forces also participating in the Hajj season are implementing their various assignments effectively in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Madinah, as a part of the efforts of the military, security, and governmental sectors, the SPA said.
