RIYADH: Saudi Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, will head a Saudi delegation to the 18th periodic meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Speakers of Shura, National and Parliamentary Councils, in UAE, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The Shura Council Speaker in a statement has emphasised the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, to the GCC unity, stability, security, and underscored the significance of bolstering fraternal ties and coordinating positions among the GCC states to boost joint efforts aimed at fostering growth and prosperity in GCC.

Highlighting the importance of this meeting, he said that it offers an opportunity to coordinate and unify Gulf positions amidst the prevailing circumstances and regional and international challenges.
The Saudi delegation will also take part in the 19th meeting of the Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee on the sidelines of the 18th meeting.
