RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s students achieved a remarkable feat at the 48th International Invention Show INOVA, held in Zagreb, Croatia, on October 16-19, earning six gold medals and one silver, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Gold medal winners Sara Bannoun, Tala Al-Refdeh, Tulin Al-Otaibi, Abdulrahman Al-Ghannam, Idris Al-Yami, and Lamar Suleiman received a grand prize and special awards each. Meanwhile, Misk Al-Hussaini won a silver medal and a special award, SPA reported.
The Saudi students presented seven projects in mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, AI, medicine, microbiology, and energy. This was Saudi Arabia’s first participation in the renowned European invention show.
