Saudi Trainees Win Medals in World Chefs’ Championship in Malaysia

RIYADH: Trainees of the International College of Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh and Tourism and Hospitality College in Madinah have won twenty-one medals in World Chefs’ Cup Championship in Malaysia.

Saudi Trainees Win Medals

According to the Saudi Press Agency, total thirty countries took part in the world’s major cooking competition as arbitrated by the Guinness World Records 2023.

The cooking competition was refereed by 120 global arbitrators in over 73 categories. The trainees won 1 gold medal, 3 silvers and 17 bronze, were distinguished by the excellence of their performance.

Over 20,000 people have been provided training in the facilities of the institution specialized in the hospitality and tourism sector. They learned basic skills in an important sector to keep pace with achieving the targets of the Saudi Vision 2030.

The travel and tourism program offered by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation through its fifteen institutes and colleges of hospitality and tourism.
