RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Riyadh on Tuesday and discussed regional and international developments.
The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

In June last year, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid an official visit to Turkey. During the visit, he met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, where they discussed bilateral cooperation, including political, economic, military, security, and cultural relations.
The two leaders vowed to develop and maintain cooperation on the basis of the “historical brotherhood” of the two nations for the future of the region.
In November 2024, Erdogan visited Saudi Arabia to attend the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in the Saudi capital Riyadh. He also met with the Saudi Crown Prince and discussed developments in Palestine and Lebanon, and the efforts exerted towards them.
They also reviewed aspects of Saudi-Turkish bilateral relations in various fields and ways to strengthen them.
In September 2024, Saudi Crown Prince during a phone conversation with the Turkish President stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to unify the efforts of Arab and Muslim countries to support the Palestinian people in the face of brutal aggression carried out by Israeli forces.
