ISLAMABAD: Amjad Aziz Malik, the Secretary General of AIPS ASIA and President of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, on Monday held a meeting with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Amjad Aziz Malik extended his congratulations to Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy on Saudi Arabia’s successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. He conveyed his best wishes to the kingdom for the smooth organization of this mega event.
They also discussed the much-anticipated World Cup Qualifying Football match between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, scheduled to take place in Dammam on the 16th of this month. Amjad Aziz expressed warm regards from the sports fraternity to welcome the Saudi Football team to Pakistan for their second match in June 2024.

Saudi Ambassador Lauds Pakistan’s Efforts in Promoting Sports
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia commended Pakistan’s efforts in promoting sports within the country. He also praised Amjad Aziz Malik for his representation of Pakistani sports writers’ bodies on the international stage. The meeting was conducted in a pleasant atmosphere, where both dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest.
