ISLAMABAD: Serena Hotels and Margalla Greens Golf Club have jointly hosted ‘Tee to Triumph’ Golf Training Programme for girls in Islamabad.
The programme was launched on the 31st of July and concluded on the 11th of August with a certificate and awards-distribution ceremony here on Friday.
According to a statement of Serena Hotels media section the programme was designed to encourage young girls by training them in the game to promote gender equality and foster sportsmanship.
The initiative was announced by Mr. Aziz Boolani, CEO Serena Hotels at the last Invitational Golf Tournament held in February 2023.

The Training Programme helped talented young girls aged 10 to 22 to show their talent and provided them with extensive training sessions that improved their game through comprehensive coaching and mentorship.
38 young girls participated in this programme and learned all elements of the game taught by the MGGC team, which did an exceptional task of mentoring these talented young girls.
Mrs. Yasmeen Mubarik Ali Khan, a legendary golf player was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. She lauded the initiative taken by the Serena Hotels to promote golf among young girls.
