Sevendays Winter Feast in GB to Attract Local, International Tourists

ISLAMABAD: Tourism Sports and Culture Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Ghulam Muhammad said on Sunday that the annual Sevendays Winter Feast will be organized from January 15 to January 25 to promote Pakistan’s tourism across the world.

He was addressing a press conference in Islamabad. He said that the aim of the event is to attract tourists from across the world to Pakistan. He invited international and local tourists to visit the area to explore the real beauty of the GB and Pakistan.

He added that GB has become an international center for tourism, and the aim of Sevendays Winter Feast is to show the positive image of the country.

The Tourism Sports and Culture Department of GB annually holds a unique type of Sevendays Winter Sports Festival to promote inclusive tourism and rehabilitate the historical and traditional games played by the local people across GB.

According to the organizers, the winter games competitions, including Ice Skating, Ice Hockey, and local games Pindok, Basra, and Baalbut, are part of the event. Several teams, including females across GB, participate in the mega event. It is the first winter sports festival held in Attabad amid -15 degrees Celsius and snowfall. A large number of spectators and tourists expect to witness the mega event.
