LOS ANGELES: Sharon Stone, the renowned Hollywood actress, was recently spotted with a cane, reflecting her ongoing health struggles. These issues have persisted, particularly following a near-death experience she had more than two decades ago.
In 2001, she suffered a stroke that resulted in a nine-day brain bleed and was given only a one percent chance of survival. Since then, the 66-year-old actress has stepped back from showbusiness.
Recently, she discussed her life away from the spotlight on Good Morning Britain, saying, “My true first step of recovery took about seven years, and that’s a long time to lose your momentum.”
“In seven years, you’re no longer the ‘it’ person, you no longer have the same level of success, the industry has shifted, and the people you once worked with may not hold the same positions,” she added. “Everything changes, and it’s tough to see that people have moved on without you.”
Sharon spoke about her “invisible disability,” stating, “I’m a different person, I have an invisible disability, you know, people don’t realize that. They can see when you’re using crutches, but when you’re struggling with cognitive function, it’s not as visible.”
Furthermore, Sharon is currently facing legal trouble after being charged with causing a high-speed car crash in Los Angeles. The Basic Instinct actress is now facing a lawsuit for over £28,000 ($35,000) following the alleged incident last year.
