ISLAMABAD: Chief Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has alleged that some 80-90 people, including Rangers, Islamabad police, and others “dressed in civil clothes,” raided his home forcibly during the early hours on Wednesday.
In a tweet in the morning, Rashid said that he was not present at his home while the people who raided his house “broke the arms of the workers” and took away his licensed weapons. He further alleged that the law-enforcers also took the CCTV footage and both of his cars along.
The PTI ally also shared a video that showed articles from a cupboard scattered all over the floor and a suitcase filled with belongings placed open on a bed.
