Significant Crackdown on Illegal Immigrants in Quetta, Large Deportation Numbers Reported

QUETTA: In a sweeping operation carried out in various areas of the capital of Balochistan province, law enforcement agencies have arrested a substantial number of illegal immigrants, with the latest figures disclosed by the police on Sunday.

The operation resulted in the apprehension of 620 illegal immigrants, categorized as follows: 116 individuals were arrested from the City Division, 62 from Quaidabad Division, 323 from Saddar, and 119 from Saryab Division. These arrests reflect a significant crackdown on illegal immigration in the region.

In response to these arrests, all the detained illegal immigrants have been transferred to the Chaman border area, with the intention of eventual deportation.

Simultaneously, a significant number of individuals have been deported via the Chaman border, totaling 5,246 members belonging to 477 families. This inclusive figure comprises 1,717 men, 1,367 women, and 2,162 children. These deportations represent a substantial and comprehensive effort to address issues related to illegal immigration and restore control over immigration processes in the region.

The operation and deportation actions underscore the resolve of law enforcement authorities to address and regulate illegal immigration while ensuring the safety and well-being of the affected individuals.
