NEW YORK: A pro-Khalistan Sikh leader has alleged that India’s intelligence agency, RAW, orchestrated the deadly attack on a passenger train in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a leader of Sikh for Justice in a statement on Thursday said that India is actively executing a covert war strategy against Pakistan.

The security forces successfully eliminated all 33 terrorists, including suicide bombers, while rescuing the hostages in a phased manner in Operation Jaffar Express, Pakistan military’s media wing said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Jaffar Express, travelling from Quetta to Peshawar was attacked by heavily armed terrorists in Balochistan on Tuesday.

The terrorists, after blowing up the railway track, took control of the train and held the passengers hostage including women, children, and the elderly, using them as human shields, the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan during his weekly press briefing on Thursday said India is involved in sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun called on international organisations to take immediate action against India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and RAW for allegedly sponsoring terrorism in the region.

“India under Modi is not just a regional threat but a full-fledged terrorist state,” Pannun said in a statement, accusing Indian agencies of carrying out targeted killings, extremist activities, and destabilisation efforts in neighbouring countries.

He warned that if India’s actions go unchecked, future attacks could claim even more innocent lives.

The recent claims by Sikhs for Justice have intensified global scrutiny of India’s intelligence operations, especially following allegations that Indian agents have been involved in the assassinations of Sikh separatists abroad.

Pannun has called for diplomatic and security sanctions against India’s intelligence agencies, urging international powers to step in before the situation escalates further.

“The world can no longer turn a blind eye to India’s state-sponsored terrorism,” he said.
