KARACHI: Indigenous multi-weapon simulator Haadif is attracting attention, particularly from the visiting military delegates from different countries attending the Defence Expo in Karachi.
The device is made to improve the accuracy and tactical skills of the defence personnel in a wide variety of small arms.
It is programmed with stationary and moving targets as per the scenarios and needs of the practitioner for combat readiness.
The simulator is also configured to prepare soldiers for various terrains, including mountainous, desert, and challenging terrains where combat can be highly demanding.
Colonel Tahir of the Pakistan Army told reporters at the event that the Haadif simulator equips soldiers with the skills necessary to engage effectively in diverse environments.

“This simulator allows us to train soldiers using multiple types of light and heavy arms simultaneously, preparing them for real-world challenges in difficult terrains,” he stated.
The International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024 will conclude on Friday, November 22.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif inaugurated the exhibition which is held to showcase Pakistan’s advancements in defence technology and aims to strengthen global partnerships.
17 new countries were participating in the event including Iran, Italy and England.

Main Battle Tank Haider and Shahpar-3 drone stand out among various products reflecting the country’s growing self-reliance in military production.
The exhibition has 224 local and 333 international companies displaying their products. Over 55 countries are participating with their defence equipment and technologies.
