KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday said that the Sindh government does not recognize India’s August 5, 2019 decision regarding Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In his message marking ‘Youm-e-Istehsal,’ the Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people resisting Indian oppression and brutality. The CM said that the entire nation was observing Kashmir Exploitation Day with resolve.

Chief Minister Murad criticized India’s 2019 move to revoke the special status of IIOJK, calling it an illegal action that violated UN resolutions and international laws. He condemned the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A as revealing India’s “hideous face.”
