Sindh Government Observes Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir in Solidarity with Kashmiris

KARACHI: The Sindh government and Karachi Administration on Monday organized a rally to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in Karachi.

The rally, held to mark Youm-e-Istehsal, began at People’s Chowrangi and concluded at Mazar-e-Quaid. It focused on condemning India’s move to revoke the special status of IIOJK.

Sindh Minister for Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah led the rally, which saw participation from Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh Waqar Mehdi, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hasan Naqvi, various department secretaries, deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, district administration staff, education department officers, teachers, and numerous schoolchildren.

During the rally, Minister Nasir Hussain Shah and Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi addressed the crowd, expressing solidarity with the people of IIOJK and condemning India’s actions as illegal.

The Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiris’ freedom struggle, emphasizing the country’s commitment to moral, diplomatic, and political backing.

Commissioner Naqvi affirmed that Pakistan would continue to support the people of IIOJK on every international platform.
