Sindh Governor Inaugurates Photo Exhibition on ‘Kashmir Exploitation Day’

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori, along with the former president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Mohammed Yaqoob Khan, inaugurated a photo exhibition on ‘Kashmir Exploitation Day’ at the Arts Council of Pakistan – Karachi on Saturday.

During the exhibition ceremony, the Governor expressed that the revocation of Article 370 to end the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) could not undermine the struggle of Kashmiri brothers and sisters for their right to self-determination. He paid tributes to the Kashmiris, and condemned the widespread Indian atrocities in the region.

Pakistan’s Solidarity with People of Kashmir

Highlighting Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Kashmir, the Governor emphasized that Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their quest for justice and self-determination.

The Governor also announced a significant initiative, stating that 0.1 million successful candidates would be provided with Information Technology courses, including subjects like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Metaverse, and Web 3.0, to empower the youth with relevant skills for the future.

Moreover, he mentioned that the government is actively distributing ration bags to support poor people on a daily basis.

Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Yaqoob Khan, expressed his firm belief that IIOJK Kashmiris will achieve independence from India, and he lauded the support of the Pakistan Army for the people of Kashmir. He urged the international community to play its role in supporting the independence of IIOJK.
