KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued an injunction on a petition against the recruitment of doctors in the National Institute of Child Health (NICH).
A petition was heard against recruiting doctors in the National Institute of Child Health. During the hearing, the petitioner, Dr. Farhana, said that our development would be affected by the appointments of the Sindh government, to which the government lawyer said that the appointments are being made as per the decision of the provincial cabinet.
Sindh High Court to public prosecutor
Justice Iqbal Kalhoro asked the public prosecutor whether the cabinet’s decision could affect the Supreme Court’s ruling. He asked for the Cabinet decision at the next hearing to review it. The Sindh High Court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 26 while ordering not to issue the appointment letters while continuing the interviews and other processes for the recruitment of doctors.
