ISLAMABAD: Thousands of people gathered in Islamabad on Sunday to participate in the Gaza Solidarity March organized by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) as Israeli occupation forces escalated their aggression against innocent Palestinians.

JI Pakistan Ameer Sirajul Haq and several political and religious leaders addressed the rally, which was originally planned to be staged in front of the US Embassy. However, authorities blocked the routes citing security concerns, leading the JI to hold its protest at Aabpara Chowk.

Addressing the participants, Sirajul Haq expressed solidarity with the Muslims in Gaza, condemning the Israeli aggression. He revealed that JI had initially planned to protest before the US Embassy. SirajulHaq announced the continuation of nationwide protests against Israeli brutalities until an end to the conflict.
