ISLAMABAD: The situation turned tense after the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) supporters took to the streets following the ECP verdict against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Police clashed with the enraged PTI supporters at the Faizabad interchange. Similar reports started pouring in from across the country with the PTI supporters gathering at the busy points of the cities. Earlier, the PTI workers came face to face with the PML-N supporters at the ECP office, however, no serious incident took place.
The supporters blocked the main roads in Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi , Karachi and other big cities of the country leading to a standstill on the roads. The commuters are facing long traffic jams.
