Mississippi Governor tweeted that a suspect was taken into custody
Governor of Mississippi, Tate Reeves, tweeted that he was briefed on the series of shootings, and he also shared that an individual has been taken into custody.
“The individual suspect has been taken into custody alive. At the moment, we believe the suspect acted alone. His motive is not clear yet. I will ensure that all the state resources are available to law enforcement as we continue to investigate the situation. The Mississippi investigation bureau has been directed to assist. Please remember victims of this tragic incident and their families in your prayers,” Reeves said in a tweet.
