KARACHI: Pakistani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Shahzaib Rind has disclosed that the brawl with Indian fighter Rana Singh broke out following he abused him and talked inappropriately against Pakistan. He made this disclosure during an interview with a private TV channel. Shahzaib explained that Singh had also made derogatory remarks about Pakistan on different platforms of social media and continued with disrespectful language ahead of the scuffle.
“After enduring verbal abuse and physical aggression from the Indian fighter during the press conference, I have no other options except giving him a lesion.”
Shahzaib swiftly defeated Singh in the match at the ‘Karate Combat’ event held in Dubai on April 21. Despite Singh’s impressive track record, Shahzaib remained undaunted, having trained extensively in the United States for the encounter.
