PESHAWAR: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) directed all regional heads to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to domestic and commercial consumers during the holy month of Ramazan, especially during Sehr and Iftar timings as per a notification issued here on Wednesday.
It stated that gas demand in the domestic and commercial sectors is expected to rise during Sehr and Iftar timings, so all regional heads have been directed to ensure optimum gas supply during Sehr timings from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. and Iftar timings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
SNGPL to assign dedicated teams
It advised all General Managers to assign dedicated teams for effective pressure profiling around the clock to adjust downstream pressures at each SMS and TBS according to load requirements.
It went on to say that complaints about low pressure during Sehr and Iftar timings would be handled quickly and strictly monitored through the establishment of a control room at the regional level and that regional heads would be held accountable if there was a lapse
